For nearly 70 years, Delta Dental of Colorado has been guided by our mission to improve the oral health of the communities we serve. Colorado is our home, and with that comes a responsibility to help make it the best place to live for everyone across the state.
That's why our company community impact efforts and the philanthropic work of our foundation support programs and partnerships that strengthen well-being and expand access to oral health care. Together, we're working toward a state where every Coloradan can thrive...because oral health matters and so do the people we serve.

We provide oral health essentials and support organizations such as food banks, homeless and domestic violence shelters, and those nonprofits providing basic needs services such as clean clothes, laundry services, showers, and other hygiene needs for community members experiencing hardship.
In 2025, we proudly donated 75,000 oral hygiene items to support healthier smiles across Colorado. In 2026, we're working to double our impact with the goal of donating 150,000 oral hygiene items in honor of Colorado's 150th year of statehood! Together, we can make this historic year one of healthier communities.

- Board leadership: Delta Dental of Colorado encourages it's team members to participate in nonprofit board service. We believe in advancing the causes that improve Colorado and providing resources to our leaders to be equipped to practice good governance in our community. - Team member volunteerism: Delta Dental of Colorado offers several avenues for community engagement, including company planned volunteer events, volunteering as a department or team, and 16 hours of paid volunteer time off per year to volunteer as individuals at the organization of their choice. This allows team members to give their time to the causes that mean the most to them, creating genuine community connections.
- Team member giving: Delta Dental of Colorado encourages a culture of giving back financially through our matching gifts program rooted in best practices.
- Sustainability: Our sustainability efforts focus on Colorado's air quality, greenhouse gas reduction, waste reduction, and responsible consumption of goods and services produced by DDCO. Our volunteer and giving efforts mirror these initiatives.

At Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation – the philanthropic arm of Delta Dental of Colorado – we know oral health is essential to overall health and well-being.
